This is our cabin! My dad's parents own this beautiful cabin, and we were lucky enough to occupy it during Thanksgiving! Thank you grandma and grandpa!
Wow. What a weekend that was. I can't believe it is/was Thanksgiving already. I must say, i have enjoyed this holiday season ALOT better than last year, or the year before. What a joy it was to be with my family, and just get to spend time with them. I can't believe what i have been missing all these years, and to think, i could've had more opportunities like this one! To start off, on Thursday, I had to work, so i didn't get to start my time off until 3pm. But as soon as I got off, i came home, packed, and headed to Nicoles house to meet up with Brandi, who is a wonderful sister, that came from Ontario to pick me up to go to Cascade. When we got there, we were greeted by Papa & Tutu, and Nicole's family. The cabin isn't very large, so we had a wonderful time filling up the entire space! Krystal and her family were going to join us on Friday (we really celebrated thanksgiving on friday), so for the rest of thursday, we just relaxed. On friday, krystal came with her family, and we had a delicous dinner prepared by ket. I can't believe the talent he has with food. Yes, I am a picky eater, but what I have had of kets...well lets just say YUMMMM.
After we had our wonderful feast, the next task on the agenda (while checking things off in my head) was to take family photos. I started with Krystal and Robbie and the kids, and got some exquiste photos from them, and then it got too dark to do anyone elses. So we finished up the picture taking on Saturday afternoon. It was a perfect day for pictures (other than the coldness coming out of our chattering teeth while smiling). Here are a few of my favorites from the family.
Don't we all look so great! I think so too. The rest of the weekend was just as wonderful. The best part for me...Not a single worry! I was able to leave all my worries behind, and just relax, and have fun. I wouldn't trade that for anything.
Here are some more of my favorite photos! Enjoy, and Happy Holidays.
